miracle
by Shannondoah
I’d cross
every ocean
Follow every
star
Travel through
each galaxy
And ascend
every
lifetime
for just
one
communion
with you
again
love
has
no limit
love
is
a miracle
reedsong
by Rumi
Persia (Afghanistan)
All day and night, music
a quiet, bright
reedsong. If it
fades, we fade.
silent heart
by Shannondoah
O great silent
heart
beloved love
we travel
in the astral
planes
and sing
together at
dawn and dusk
O great silent
one
Great Mystery
beloved love
touch my hand
and
see
my eyes
hear
my sound
feel
my embrace
loving you in
all ways
always
we
are
connected
love of God
by Dante
Italy
The love of God, unutterable and perfect,
flows into a pure soul the way that light
rushes into a transparent object.
The more love that it finds, the more it gives
itself; so that, as we grow clear and open,
the more complete the joy of heaven is.
And the more souls who resonate together,
the greater the intensity of their love,
and, mirror-like, each soul reflects the other.

our truth
by Shannondoah
Our truth
unfolds as we
open Our hearts
more and more
each sunrise
and every
sunset
love is all there is
really, when
meditating
on
Great Mystery,
Our Source
within and
without
Love is Our Everything
All Our Relations
love brought us
together
and it can
bring us back
home
to Ourselves
and then
to Each Other
when the words stop
by Hafiz
Persia (Iran)
When
the words stop
and you can endure the silence
that reveals your heart’s pain
of emptiness
or that great wrenching-sweet longing,
that is the time to try and listen
to what the Beloved’s eyes
most want to
say.

sage
by Shannondoah
words
on this page
burn like
sage
smoke in the
air
it doesn’t always
feel fair
sometimes
i think
i can’t
take one more
minute
without you
in my arms
you holding
me
to your heart
breath upon
breath
forever love
beloved
scriptures
by LALLA (India)
To learn the scriptures is easy,
to live them, hard.
The search for the Real
is no simple matter.
Deep in my looking,
the last words vanished.
Joyous and silent,
the waking that met me there.
mountains
by Shannondoah
i love you
in the mountains
i love you
in the sky
i love you
in the midnight
and the morning
all the while
i wake up
in the sunshine
and dream
of you
and smile
i imagine
our love
is like the
stars
infinite,
like a
wild
song
i became you
by MAHADEVIYAKKA (India)
When the body becomes Your mirror
how can it serve?
When the mind becomes Your mind
what is left to remember?
Once my life is Your gesture
how can I pray?
When all my awareness is Yours,
what can there be to know?
I became You, Lord, and forgot You.

gravity
by Shannnondoah
not sure
where gravity
went or
how
it’s gone
i’ve been praying
day and night
for that ole
gravity to turn
back on
and bring us
together, reunited
as one
and i can
almost
feel your hands,
your heart
your whole self
breath
upon breath
i’m choosing
trust
Spirit’s gonna
get it all
going
you and me
hey i’m a believer
and i don’t
give up
love is the
only truth
we have
this trust
lives
in each other’s
hearts
infinite love, beloved
roots
by St.Francis of Assisi
Italy
Our hands imbibe like roots,
so i place them on what is beautiful in this world.
And I fold them in prayer, and they
draw from the heavens
light.

wholeness
by Shannondoah
the wholeness
within me
connects to
the holyness
within you
from the stars
we began
embarking on
this journey
of love
unifying All there Is
with our love
caterpillar
by Victoria Hamilton
‘In Search of Joy’
The crawling caterpillar
Prints on spring moist sand
(with unseen fuzzy feet)
Promises of butterfly wings
And other summer things
beyond time
by Shannondoah
i love you
beyond time
yes, i love you
within time
and without
it
this love of
the heart
this love of
my heart
sudden wind
by Victoria Hamilton
‘In Search of Joy’
A sudden wind
Has swept the swallows
To the sea
To dip and turn.
Foam flecked
By the thundering power
Of those roaring giants
Who fall in crushing folds
Of sea-spawned storms
They soar
and soar
and soar.

discover
by Shannondoah
infinite garden
of my heart
meet me
in the flowers
follow all the
stairs along
the blessed
dirt path
where our
sunshine lights
the world
full of Love
watering the sacred ones,
nurturing each
other
we discover
Home
truth
by LALLA (India)
I went everywhere with longing
in my eyes, until here
in my own house
I felt truth
filling my sight.

my heart is free
by Shannondoah
My heart
is free
so
i Am free
my love
is limitless
so
i Am limitless
my heart
has always
been
with your heart
as yours
has
always been with
mine
wrapped in
each others’
Purity,
Joy
continuously
flows
shines a Light
in every
dark night
a moment
by Mary Elizabeth Coleridge (1861-1907)
A Moment
The clouds had made a crimson crown
Above the mountains high.
The stormy sun was going down
In a stormy sky.
Why did you let your eyes so rest on me,
And hold your breath between?
In all the ages this can never be
As if it had not been.
loving you
by Shannondoah
loving you
i’ve experienced
the greatest joys
and
the deepest sorrows
i’ve swam to
the depths of
my soul
within my
heart’s ocean
i’ve leaped
off the highest
cliffs of Faith
carrying Trust
in one hand and
Surrender in the
other
i’ve felt loved, felt lost
and then felt loved again
all in one
moment
amidst the
greatest challenges
i am still Rising
i Rise with
a Full Heart
i Rise with
Passion and
Honor
i Rise with
a clear, grounded
strength
and
i sing the Unity song
with Love, With Love,
with Love
timing
by Sarah Maguire (b.1957)
Perfect Timing
The night I fell in love with you I lost my watch:
stripping off at the sea’s edge, it fell into the dark
as I swam out into a night thick with stars,
with fisherman calling from one lit boat to another
of their catches and harbours, leaving for the dawn.
Imagine it now, plunged deep in cool sand, still hidden
years later, grains ticking over it one by one-
as your hands slide into me and I move to their pulse.

morning sun
by Shannondoah
in the depths
of my soul
roses bloom
infinitely
every morning
my prayers
to the sun
include
you
our hands
by St.Francis of Assisi (Italy)
Our hands imbibe like roots,
so I place them on what is beautiful in this world.
And I fold them in prayer, and they
draw from the heavens
light.
